I pray you'll be our eyes and watch us where we go
By the time you've seen the letter, you either know what's coming or have no idea of what's to come. You hold the letter in your hand, and see the emerald ink imprinted on the front. It's your name, but who could possibly be writing to an eleven year old? You search, and find a crest stamp. A lion, a badger, an eagle, and a serpent. And upon opening the letter, you know you've disovered something big, something unimaginable. "We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry."
And help us to be wise in times when we don't know
The years seem to drift by like the shriveled pages of the books, and every year, a new selection of students pass through the doors of the Great Hall. With each new face is an expression of pure, anadulterated wonder. Nothing could have prepared these new students for the biggest adventure of their brief lives. Some never seen the amounts of food on the tables, never saw a castle such as this. Some never even believed in magic. This sight is what the four founding fathers cherished to see and hoped to pass on to future generations. A place of wonder, of spirit, of magic.
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace, to a place where we'll be safe
Welcome to another term at Hogwarts
Where everything is a new beginning
And memories aren't a reflection, but a story
Where things have gone back to the basics . . .
